What You Will Need

Tools & Materials

Your kit includes everything needed for the trampoline itself. For the hole, you will need either a rented excavator or to hire a local excavating contractor.

  • Excavating equipment — rented mini-excavator or local contractor
  • Basic hand tools — wrenches, rubber mallet, tape measure
  • Level — to ensure the frame sits flush with the yard
  • Two or more helpers — for frame assembly and mat installation
  • Gravel (optional) — for drainage layer at bottom of hole

Step-by-Step Installation

Follow these steps for a solid, long-lasting installation.

1

Mark Out Your Hole

Use the dimensions from your kit guide to mark the exact footprint. Account for the retaining wall thickness on all sides.

2

Excavate

Dig 30–36 inches deep depending on your model. Keep walls as vertical as possible. Remove all loose material.

3

Add a Drainage Layer

Place 4–6 inches of compacted gravel at the base of the hole to allow water to drain away from the bottom of the frame.

4

Install the Retaining Wall

Follow the retaining wall guide included in your kit. This is the most critical structural step — take your time and check level frequently.

5

Set the Frame

Lower the frame into the retaining wall system. Check that it sits flush with the surrounding grade — adjust as needed.

6

Attach the Springs and Mat

Work around the frame in a cross-pattern (not sequential) to ensure even tension. Attach the vented safety pad last.

7

Backfill and Finish

Fill any gaps between the retaining wall and hole walls with compacted soil. Grade the surrounding area so it drains away from the trampoline.
