Hire a Local Excavator

The biggest part of installing an inground trampoline is digging the hole. The easiest way to handle it — regardless of where you live — is to hire a local excavator or landscaper for a few hours.

How It Works

Find a Digger, We Handle the Rest

You do not need a specialized trampoline installer. Any excavator, landscaper, or general contractor who can dig a precise hole is all you need. Most jobs take a small machine and a few hours.

  • Search Google for “excavator rental” or “mini excavator service near me”
  • Give them specs — our guide includes exact dimensions for every model
  • They dig, you assemble — kit assembly takes 2–4 hours with a helper
  • We are here — call or email us if you hit any snags along the way

What to Tell Your Excavator

Every kit ships with a detailed spec sheet. Here is the short version.

1

Hole Dimensions

Depth: 30–36 inches. Length and width match your trampoline size — see the spec sheet in your kit.

2

Flat Bottom

The bottom of the hole should be as level as possible. Drainage is built into the kit design.

3

Dirt Removal

Ask your excavator to haul away the dirt, or arrange to have it removed before they arrive.

4

Then You Take Over

Install the retaining wall, assemble the frame, attach the mat and springs. Step-by-step guide included.
